A wonderful opportunity to create a kitchen, diner and snug room for a lovely family. Quite a challenge we were presented with here as the clients wanted to move the kitchen to one end of the house. This rightly so gave them the room and space they wanted to create for their young and growing family. For us it meant knocking load bearing walls down, installing steel supports and moving all the electrical and plumbing services of the existing kitchen to another part of the house.
Ultimately this led to a great flowing area for cooking, dining, chilling and socialising. Bifold doors out to the garden brought the outside and in together to create a great environment for those summer months. Underfloor heating keeps the area toasty in the cooler months.
The choice of door, in this case a Fitzroy painted is a block wood door oozing class and sophistication. Whilst the Dove grey element is complimented with absolute white quartz work surfaces, the island is beautifully contrasted with rich Hartforth blue Fitzroy doors and a mix of Iroko solid timber work tops and quartz white, containing the induction hob.
